We spent a fabulous day with Giovanni touring, Herculaneum and Pompeii, enjoying a vineyard tour/winetasting and light lunch, and traveling to our hotel in Sorrento. Giovanni picked us up at the train station and shared a wealth of information about his beloved city as we made our way to the planned stops. Rosie was delightful in helping make plans and stayed in contact before our arrival. This family run company is delightful in every way. Thanks for making our journey to Sorrento an eventful day!
Just wanted to say what an amazing guide John was. We booked a tour back in August and he was a really wonderful guide. My friend was gluten free and John went to great lengths for her. We were so appreciative. Great tour company all round.
We booked a private tour with Rosy and from the beginning, the experience was very friendly and professional. Our driver Antonio was very friendly and did an amazing job taking us to Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. We would recommend them as their prices are very competitive and the services exceptional. Their service is based on trust as they don't even ask for deposit.
Recently Italy, Tuscany Rome and lastly in Sorrento. Saved the best for last as they say. We took a private tour with Amalfi Coast Day Tour and had a wonderful time visiting Positano & Amalfi Coast. Our driver was great and gave us a lot of information on this part of Italy. It you ever go to Positano you must make a stop at La Tageilata restaurant. The best! Views are amazing and so is the food. The reservation was easy to make with the tour company and they accommodated the many changes I made before leaving and up to the day we took the tour. Would recommend this company.
Our first tour was with Gianluca, who picked us up right on time and drove us to the top of Mt. Vesuvius. He gave us some background on the region and the history of the mountain. Later we toured the ruins of Herculaneum, followed by a trip to Pompei. We had a lovely lunch in Pompei city, visited the cathedral, then went to the ruins there. I highly encourage hiring a guide at the two archaeological sites to get the best knowledge and see details you might miss walking the grounds on your own. The second tour was with Antonio, who drove us over the Apennine mountains and along the Amalfi coast. Dramatic and stunning are understatements! We stopped in some towns along the way and had lunch at Ristorante da Costantino, a lovely spot overlooking Positano. Don't miss the Emerald Grotto and take the 5 Euro rowboat tour to get the best experience.
Rosy was great, very responsive and booking was a breeze. Our guide John was awesome, spoke perfect English and was very knowledgeable of the area. He picked us up from the train station in Naples in a nice Mercedes van (even though it was just the 2 of us for the day). We were able to customize our private tour of the Amalfi Coast, spent most of our time in Positano and Amalfi, drove through Sorrento, Ravello and did a quick stop in Pompeii. The Amalfi Coast is beautiful, definitely worth the day trip from Rome!
